We make wooden curtain poles, drapery rods and finials in the UK. Edward Harpley is UK based and have been making wooden drapery rods, curtain poles and finials for the last fifteen years.
All of the wooden curtain poles, drapery rods and finials are hand made in house, our turner hand turns the wooden finials, we have carvers who then hand carve the finials. The wooden curtain poles or drapery rods as they are also known are made by hand, if a curtain pole is reeded or a drapery rod is fluted these are extra processes. Our turner who hand turns finials also hand turns wooden twist drapery rods and diaper pattern curtain poles.
Our wooden curtain poles, drapery rods and finials are hand finished with stains, wood polishes or solid gold leaf, only when everyone who works for the company is happy with the product will we send them to our customers.
