Pictures from our workshop show a collection of hand carved wooden Acanthus & Flambeau finials, Acanthus brackets and Acanthus tiebacks all to be used with handmade Acanthus reeded wooden curtain poles. There is also an Acanthus Leaf & Bead bay window pelmet.

All handmade in walnut with Dutch metal leaf gilding.

Metal curtain poles, brackets and finials to hang medieval tapestries and banners

Commissioned by English Heritage as part of Dover Castle’s Great Tower Refurbishment, Edward Harpley supplied

387 metres of iron curtain pole, 222 wrought iron brackets and 130 wrought iron finials.

See this dramatic and colourful recreation of Henry II’s keep to make it more like when it was built in the 12th century.
